We believe the built environment has a profound impact on our natural environment, economy and wellness. This is why we are dedicated to a greener future and we actively pursue scalable sustainable solutions to all of our projects.
Early in the planning process, we address passive sustainable opportunities that can easily be incorporated into design, including energy efficiency, site orientation, solar mitigation, water management, air quality and embodied carbon impact. Working with the client and the project budget, we can identify additional, and perhaps more advanced, sustainable design solutions. Moreover, we will assure that the identified opportunities are implemented through construction.
ROSSETTI follows the AIA Framework for Design Excellence to guide progress toward a resilient and equitable built environment. We utilize the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) process as a framework for identifying and implementing practical, measurable green building solutions across design, construction, operations, and maintenance. Additionally, we incorporate WELL building standards in most of our projects, focusing on occupant health through factors like air, water, and light quality. Depending on the client’s goals, we often collaborate with a Sustainability Design consultant to enhance our services from project concept through construction completion.
