Cosm Announces Detroit as Its Fourth Immersive Entertainment Venue

Cosm, a leading company in immersive technology and entertainment, announced last week that Detroit will be the home of its fourth experiential entertainment venue. The company has introduced a completely new way for fans to experience live sports, immersive art, and entertainment through Shared Reality—an experience that bridges virtual and physical worlds by merging state-of-the-art visuals with crowd energy and world-class hospitality. Cosm’s first two venues are located in Los Angeles and Dallas, with a third underway in Atlanta. The Detroit venue, in partnership with Bedrock, is another investment in the long-term revitalization of downtown Detroit.

As a Detroit-based company for 55 years, ROSSETTI is not only thrilled that this venue is coming to our city, but we are also excited to merge our expertise in sports and entertainment design with our first-hand knowledge of what makes Detroit unique. Partnering with Cosm and Bedrock, our involvement in this venue supports our commitment to strengthening local culture and economic vitality. From macro to micro, we will integrate Cosm’s innovative features with elements that honor Detroit’s cultural legacy.

Like its other venues, Cosm Detroit will showcase world-class design and proprietary technology, including a 26.6-meter, 12K LED dome and an adjacent high-resolution LED wall similar to the 150-foot-long display at the Los Angeles location. Cosm Detroit’s programming will feature a range of live sports offerings, expanding through official partnerships with UFC, the NBA, NBC Sports, TNT Sports, FOX Sports, the NFL, and more, allowing fans to experience their favorite sports, teams, and events from around the world in Shared Reality. In addition to live sports, Cosm will also showcase productions from Cirque du Soleil, with additional creators and studios joining the program in the future.
